to contend!

In this exercise, I took a shot at setting up a tiny fight scene.
I've always been a fan of pure action and clean fight choreography. I feel like Jackie Chan really set the standard in this regard. His action scenes are fast-paced, dynamic, and entertaining but are rarely ever graphic or gratuitously violent.

Sketches at the optometrist using me ballpoint pen and a pencil sketch done later. They each look a little different from the original. I know that's often the case when dealing with reproductions but as of late my scanners been yielding some.... interesting results. *shrug* aw well (O_o) (^_^)

almost there

The semester's almost over. It's had its ups and downs, but things turned out well, a lot of experience and gained and lessons learned. I got into the society of illustrators in LA and New York and I'll be in the Summer issue of CMYK Magazine. I've felt like a zombie for the past month but I'd like to think it builds character and resolve. :]

This is an animation I worked on this semester with a friend in 2d img and movement class. I loves me some animation. Took a lot of time but a lot of fun too. Turn the music up!

growth

Sometimes I feel like I'm growing too fast in one area and then too slow in another. But I know I'm where I'm suppose to be, and I'm going to keep moving forward. :]

A process drawing for a side-project and an independent study piece. I've been working on my oils. :[]

two new pieces

I haven't posted in a while. However, I have much more to show now. Here are two pieces for my graphic essay class. I'm pretty excited about both. I was striving for high emotional content with these illustrations. Any feedback is appreciated. :]

and uhhhh I have some new pictures (O_o)

To be consistent with my other post, I'll be brief. :)
I had an eventful summer at Kings Dominion, drawing caricatures. I learned a lot and cherish the new friendships made.
These pictures are for my concept art class. The assignment is to create character designs for "Serenity." I'd like to rework some of them.
Comments? :}
